Hotel liegt am Rand der Innenstadt; Promenade, Schiffsanleger, Talstation von der Zahnradbahn in wenigen Schritten gut zu erreichen; weitere Restaurants liegen zum größten Teil in der Innenstadt; Hotel verfügt über einen Teil der benötigten Parkplätze - sonst öffentlichen parken Gebühr werden erstattet; Rezeption tagsüber besetzt, nett und hilfreich; Restaurant für Frühstück und sonst. Mahlzeit sowie eine sehr schöne überdachte Terrasse vorhanden (mit Blick auf den See); zum Teil das Personal beim Frühstück sehr zurückhaltend auch beim morgentlichen "guten Morgen Gruß";

Отличная гостиница, с видом на озеро просто шикарно. Оказывается, что у них есть свой частный пляж/пирс, где можно отдохнуть, при этом дают доп. пляжные полотенца. Завтрак стандартный, но очень высокое качество продуктов. Большой выбор заварных чаев, кофе и других напитков. Парковка небольшая, но нам повезло, место было, из плюсов, если вдруг вам места не хватило, то они дают специальную карточку на парковку рядом, так что переживать не стоит, если места внутри гостиницы не хватит. Доп. плату за парковку, отдых на пирсе не берут.  На ресепшене работают очень милая девушка, которая поможет решить все вопросы. Я с удовольствием тут останусь, когда поеду в след. раз.

Our family loved our stay here at the family owned and operated Hotel Margaretha! We would absolutely stay again. We booked the family room with the second bedroom and it was a perfect amount of space and the balcony was much larger than expected. We had a perfect view of the lake. Room was well furnished and decorated. Cleaned daily and they cleaning staff was thoughtful - even folding our toddlers pajamas. Like many hotels in the area no A/C but was comfortable at night with windows open. Street was quiet at night. Breakfast is what you’d expect for most European vacation hotels. Great selection of meats, cheese, breads, yogurt and with a made-to-order egg menu. Espresso drinks from a machine. Dinner was exceptional. Great menu and felt very upscale. I was surprised how few people ate here at dinner. Perfect location. Quiet side of town, but short walk to city center. Very convenient for ferry station and the famous cog-wheel train. They have a private garden and deck on the lake for swimming. Plenty of sun-beds. They have free paddle boards as well. Service was fantastic. Staff is so friendly, warm and accommodating. Most spoke English. Viktoria in particular went above and beyond at several occasions - including connecting us with a babysitter for an evening. We stayed in the boathouse & LOVED it. This hotel absolutely made our stay in St. Wolfgang. Staff were friendly, views were incredible, every meal we had was phenomenal, the hotel is conveniently located to walk into town & we loved the amenities. Lounging by the lake was a highlight, along with the complimentary paddle boards and row boat. Absolutely recommend this hotel!! I’d give more than 5 stars if I could.

We just stayed for 2 nights at Hotel Margaretha and had a fantastic experience! Highly recommended! We are used to very nice accommodations, and weren’t sure what to expect with this hotel, but it was recommended by an Austrian friend. It exceeded our expectations. The staff was all very welcoming and friendly. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The included breakfast was wonderful. And the location was perfect - just outside of the main downtown, it made for a quiet, pleasant stay, just a 5-7 minute walk along the waterfront to get to city center. We ended up walking into town both days we were there, however we chose to return and spend the majority of our time at the hotel due to its welcoming atmosphere and incredible views of the lake. Bonuses: great food and drink menu, jumping into the lake each morning and following it up with a sauna, and the friendly and welcoming staff.
